The Halverson Family has identified some very practical ways in which we can assist them at this time. If you wish to assist with any of the following needs, please contact Cindy Ritchie at 831-430-1230 or cindy.ritchie@mounthermon.org.

1. Meals: They have requested meals for three people to be provided every other evening. If you are scheduled to deliver a meal, the family asks that you call them before delivering the meal. If you are providing meals, it would be a big help to the family to have things in disposable containers.
2. Transportation: Daniel and Becky will need rides to school and youth group. On occasion, there will be a need for airport pick-up and drop-off for extended family members.
3. Groceries: If you are available to make an occasional grocery store run, Lynne will contact Cindy with a list of needed food items. This expense will be reimbursed to you by the family.
4. Temporary Housing for Family: There may be an occasional need for housing for out of town visitors.
5. Housecleaning: We’re asking for a couple of people who would be willing to help clean the house periodically.

Financial Assistance

Several people have contacted us asking how they can provide practical help for the Halverson family, and for this we are so very grateful. As you can imagine, an illness such as this impacts a family in many ways—including financially.

Financial gifts may be mailed to the following address. Gifts should be noted as “Scott & Lynne Halverson Benevolence.”  The church will then route the gift to Scott & Lynne.   (Note that these gifts are not considered to be tax-deductible as they benefit an individual.)
